The New Gaming Lounge, a free app for Android and iOS, will launch on Android soon

IGN The New Game Lounge will launch in the coming days, bringing a free online game service for Android devices.
The service is a collaborative app, where users can share their games, achievements, and more with one another.
Users can access the service on a device with Android 4.4 KitKat or higher, and the app will also run on devices running Android 4, 4.3, and 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Users who subscribe to the service will be able to access the app on their phones, tablets, and computers.
The service is currently free, and it will cost $3.99 a month, per account.
It will be available to Android users in the US on September 22.
The game service was previously announced in July 2016, but was not released for free until September.
The launch of The New Gamer Lounge will bring to an end a long-running rivalry between Android gaming and iOS gaming.
The competition between the two devices has raged for years, with iOS players complaining that Android’s mobile gaming app ecosystem is lacking.
The app is designed to give users a better gaming experience on their Android devices, and will be supported by the App Store for a limited time.
While the launch of the app is a welcome development for Android users, the fact that it’s being made available for free on an open-source platform means that other gaming platforms may also benefit from the service.
