How to Hide Chrome Browser Extension Error Message on Google Chrome Canary
Posted On July 7, 2021
Google Chrome version 51.0.2887.89 has been updated to support Firefox 57.0 and above.
The browser’s error messages are now hidden under the browser toolbar, rather than appearing on the main menu bar.
The Chrome browser extension error message is a notification that Google Chrome has received a network error.
Chrome Canary users can turn on this feature by opening Chrome Canary’s About page, clicking the About section, and then clicking More Info.
This setting will not appear in the Chrome browser’s toolbar.
The extension error messages will only appear on Firefox 57 and above browsers.
Chrome users can disable this feature for themselves by going to Settings > About, clicking About, and clicking the Remove Google Chrome extension setting.
Chrome 51.1.1150.55 and above will also need to enable this feature.
Users can go to About > Extensions, click More Info, and click Remove Google Extension.
